Kathmandu Pokhara Chitwan Tours Package (9 Days)
Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal and the largest city in Nepal. The city issituated in Kathmandu Valley that also contains two other cities - Patan and Bhaktapur. Pokhara is situated in the northwestern corner of the Pokhara Valley, which is a widening of the Seti Gandaki valley The Seti River and its tributaries have dug impressive canyons into the valley floor, which are only visible from higher viewpoints or from the air. Chitwan is only 150m above the sea level. The place gets steamy from March-June, with peak temperatures reaching 43°C in the shade. Short grass makes Feb-May the best game-viewing season. The flora and fauna of Chitwan makes it a great place for nature lovers. Chitwan has over 50 different species of mammals, 400 different species of birds, and 65 different types of butterflies in its hardwood Sal forests, riverine vegetation, and "elephant grass" savannah. More than 70 different species of grass grow here.
Kathmandu Pokhara Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival KATHMANDU International Airport, welcome transfer to hotel and rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight at hotel. Q/N.
Day 02: After breakfast, half day sightseeing or Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath Stupa. Enjoy a traditional Nepalese dance program in the evening.
Day 03: After breakfast, departure transfers to the airport for flight to Pokhara. Check into hotel after arriving at Pokhara. Rest of the day leisure.
Day 04: After breakfast, half day sightseeing tour of Pokhara. Return to hotel or lunch, 1 hour boat ride on the Fewa lake.
Day 05: After breakfast, transfer to Chitwan by road. Check into lodge/resort/Camp. Jungle activities after lunch.
Day 06: Full day Jungle activities.
Day 07: After breakfast, either departure transfers to Bharatpur airport for flight to Kathmandu or overland transportation to Kathmandu. Arrive kathmandu and transfer to Nagarkot hotel.
Day 08: After enjoying the view of sunrise over the Himalaya, leave for Kathmandu visiting Bhaktapur Durbar Square en route, Arrive at hotel in Kathmandu and lunch. Half-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu and Patan Durbar Square.
Day 09: Departure transfer to airport for onward flight.
